My Story:
I grew up as an elite acrobatics gymnast south of London. My family run a successful gymnastics club, where I taught gymnastics for over 10 years and helped with the business.
After deciding to pack up competition, I studied Forensics focusing on Anthropology and Biology. Living in London working as an Analyst for a couple of years before moving to Sydney Australia.
Sydney was a fresh start to create the life I wanted. The healthy beach culture was infectious and I quickly booked onto my first Yoga class which blew me away! I came out of my first class having felt something I hadn’t felt in years. I felt energised, challenged, pushed, curious and at the same time, more relaxed and comfortable in myself than I had felt in years. I was hooked, there day after day finding challenge in each new pose, each new flow, each new experience and bit by bit I felt more and more like myself.
Yoga really did change my life. I practised at every opportunity and I went on to complete 350hr advanced Power Vinyasa Yoga teacher training with the amazing Power Living team, studying under the internationally renowned Duncan Peak.
In May 2016 Yoga Hive was born and I continue to teach yoga across London in studios, businesses, privately and online. In 2017 I completed 100hr Yin yoga training with Sarah Powers and 25hr Myofascial Release with Tiffany Cruikshank of Yoga Medicine. In 2018 I went on to complete my Kids & Family Yoga training with Rainbow Yoga and my Rocket Yoga certification with The Yoga People. In 2019 I started my 300hr Advanced Teacher Training with Jason Crandell.
My hope is to give my students what I found in that first class. An escape from the stresses of the day-to-day, and an opportunity for self exploration to connect with themselves and tap into that childhood sense of play whilst exploring the ancient practice. Yoga is my passion and I love to share it and help others, so please get in touch if I can be of service. Namaste!
